CancerCare Keeps Us Together - Pet Assistance & Wellness (PAW) Program
CancerCare’s Pet Assistance & Wellness (PAW) Program helps people living with cancer and their caregivers care for their pets. Since March 2020, the PAW Program has helped over 900 pet owners affected by cancer–and our clients' needs continue to grow. Thank you to Katie Couric, award-winning journalist and cancer advocate, for lending her voice to this important cause.

CancerCare Celebrates 75 Years of Help and Hope
The 2019 CancerCare Gala took place on Wednesday, April 17, at New York City’s Ziegfeld Ballroom. The annual event brought together philanthropists, health care industry leaders, patient advocates and other supporters to raise funds for the organization’s free counseling, education and financial assistance programs. This video explains CancerCare’s history and how our services have evolved and grown since our founding in 1944.

First Annual CancerCare Greenwich Walk/Run for Hope
For the first time, CancerCare hosted its Walk/Run For Hope in Greenwich, CT at Tod’s Point. More than 350 participants raised $35,000 to support CancerCare’s free professional support services for anyone affected by cancer. Senator Richard Blumenthal attended and offered words of encouragement to the participants.
